Seasons in the Sun is a Community Supported Agricultural farm. CSA farmers are dedicated to sustainable
food production. Individuals interested in supporting the local farmer would historically, offer to buy a share
of a farmer's yield. That share covered either the spring or fall growing season. The purchased share was paid up front before
planting. Most shares were for a twenty week period and cost between $600 or $1500 depending upon the farmer. This enabled
the farmer to plan ahead, purchase his supplies, and have a guaranteed outlet for his product. Nowadays, CSA farms don't specifically
sell a share of their yield. Instead, our CSA customers receive a weekly basket filled with 6-12 types of fruits and
vegetables, enough for a family of 2 to 6 people, depending on the basket size. Other products we offer include eggs,
breads, flowers, honey and extras (such as homemade seasonings, meat rubs, jams/jellies, and bath and body products) depending
upon the week. We also have Add Ons when those things are available. Customers that join a
CSA not only receive healthy produce, but find a meaningful way to reunite with the land, and support the local farming community.
It can also be a teaching tool for children to visit the farm and see how their food is grown or visit with the farm animals.
Our farm includes hydroponic, aquaponics, and field farming, raised beds gardens, as well as many farm animals and even
a garden center. We are committed to our family and community and hope to get people involved in making healthy food choices.
In addition to growing our fruits and vegetables hydroponically as well as field farming, we support other local,
